Go there, kill 435345 Afflicted, get reward, start another quest with same text just in another location.
The only 3 that differs from that are the ones in Noob-island....aka the most bad designed(minister cho's estate, anyone? and wait to enjoy it in HM).
'nuff said.

Story? Wait, was there a story?
I probably missed it as text scrolled away and I couldn't read a thing while fighting 435345 afflicted...

Sure there was.
"Your aren't that great in my eyes. Vanquish Chanta again please, i'd like to see if you're so pro as you want to think. Ah, if you haven't done it already, i'm pleased to make some areas impossible, if this don't bother you too much."
or even simpler:
"Let's kill afflicted stuff to make space for the other guys."

Just finished part 2, it was quite interesting to me because Cantha at the time of factions came out the peasants were just worthless nobodies and now they are going through the russian revolution or something except they are nazis.
I don't think it will turn out well though, I highly doubt Cantha will be free like Kryta at the end of this, especially with spoilers from GW2
'Its last known emperor is Usoku, successor to Kisu. He defeated the Kurzicks and the Luxons, re-annexing them into the empire, before driving all non-humans from the lands. Anyone who disagreed with his rule was exiled. ' (gw2 wiki on Cantha).
Looks like the ministry and imperial guard are going to combine or something to prevent civil war and then become a police state.

This is interesting too on what happens to the tengu.

I just hope that at the end of it if they give us a new hero it's a tengu. I remember hearing in-game that the 'mysterious' hero you'd get at the end of WiK was a tengu, and while it would make no sense lore or geography wise it would have been cool.
Also, it says on the GW2 wiki that Dominion of Winds will not be included in original release of GW2. Would make a nice expansion though if people get bored with the existing playable races.

Well apparently what happens next from the lore and spoilers I have seen is that you help the Tengu escape Cantha and they go to Tyria and found the Dominion of Winds.
Maybe they join up with Tyrian tengu tribes after the elder dragons awake and all the tengu have their own city in GW2.
Yea it's possible in part 3 of WoC anet introduces a new tengu hero that joins you after you complete WoC and save all the tengus.

Finally beat both parts on HM.
First part was way harder and frustrating for some reason.
I think it's probably the skill setup the Afflicted and Am Fah got compared to the Ministry and Sensalis in part 2.
Anyway, hope part 3 comes out before Christmas.

Ugh... is it worth slogging through all the areas that need to be clensed in order to do part 2? The second part is worth it?
Wonder why they had to do so many clensing quests? It's like a Bully Beat-Down marathon, interesting for the first few fights then you start channel surfing for something different.

I'm pretty shocked at the number of people who are this repulsed by the quest structure of WoC.
1) "Follow this path, kill everything on your way," describes the majority of GW's quests. It's always been that way. Why some people are taking this opportunity to suddenly get allergic to it is beyond me.
2) We're still in the middle of it. Yes, that means the mobs aren't going anywhere until the chain is finished, and even then it wouldn't make terribly much sense if the Afflicted came back (and I highly doubt that they will). This is something that they really should have been doing with their instancing technology from day one, and it's a shame that they're only really now exploring what it means to be able to adjust zones for individuals based on story completion.
3) The rewards are pretty damn good for quests, and we haven't seen the ending items yet.
4) Part II quests are way less formulaic than Part I quests.
Other than the wait in between updates, I seriously do not understand why people are so upset with WoC, when WiK was almost universally liked.

I don't really have problem with the quests: as Skyy says, they're basically set up like several OTHER quests in GW. However, the problem I have is with the storyline: We've killed a gazillion things in this game, and NOW we take issue with being homicidal mercs??? REALLY????!!!
I mean, really: Nick asks for jade bracelets, and we run out and kill 500+ Jade Brotherhood...just to get some fireworks and booze!!!! But NOW, we develop a conscience????
Um.......OK!

I gave up on my conscience when I killed some Kurzicks just so two kids could get married.... (a teaser quest before Factions was released).
